U8 Blues Unlucky in Navenby

The U8 Blues (25/26) were unlucky to lose on penalties after progressing to the semi finals at this year's Navenby JFC Tournament.

Making it through two group stages having come up against some of the finest youth football teams in the area was an outstanding achievement. After a hard-fought 1-1 draw against the eventual tournament winners, the boys' very first shootout experience ended in defeat. Regardless, everyone went home with their heads held high, knowing that on their day they can mix it with some of the very best.

Thank you to Navenby for hosting another great event and congratulations to Lincoln St Helen's on their well deserved victory in the final.
